the hotel is really nice, and the staff are super friendly. the room was clean and comfy, and the breakfast was delish with great coffee. the location is perfect for exploring oban, especially if ur going to the islands by ferry. also really loved the spa session we got, it was a nice touch! overall it was a good vibe and we had a fun time.
the wifi in the single room was terrible, which was a major letdown. also, the shower was way too tiny and uncomfortable.

Excellent Breakfast and Cozy Atmosphere
I had a lovely stay in a Standard Double Room with Sea View, where the stunning views of the harbor were mesmerizing. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring made-to-order dishes and the fluffiest croissants I've ever tasted. The warm, personalized service made me feel truly at home, although I wish there had been a bit more ambiance in the dining area to enhance the dinner experience.

Family with children will enjoy this place
The breakfast was excellent, like a feast! They had a full vegetarian Scottish breakfast, really hit the spot! And I loved the spacious bar area, with board games and all! We had a blast just relaxing and playing after a long day.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what we got it was still reasonable.

An amazing waterfront retreat!
Wow, what a stunning place! The building’s history is super cool, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Our room was cozy and fresh, and that rainforest shower? Total bliss! We had dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant. the salmon dish was amazing! Just wish there were more breakfast options on-site.

Superior Double Room with Sea View offered a fantastic panorama right from the window, making mornings more enjoyable. The layout felt spacious and comfortable, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere during the stay.
The plumbing on the third floor had quirks—shower pressure was low, and the radiator didn't heat up adequately. Breakfast and bar service could use better organization, as my partner and I faced frequent mix-ups that started to feel a bit intrusive. Also notable—single-ply toilet paper felt a bit cheap for this caliber of hotel. The restaurant's lack of a Scottish menu was disappointing enough that we chose to dine elsewhere.
